"I’m so happy we found Debra Readman as a piano teacher. Debra makes the lessons fun and goes above and beyond for her students. We have been continuing lessons over Zoom during the pandemic and it has really made me see what a lovely bond my daughter and Debra have." -Vicky S.
“Our 2 daughters started lesson’s with Debra in October 2019 at the age of 5, and they love piano! They have learned so much already, and despite Covid-19, Debra was able to quickly pivot her business to accommodate teaching the kids online mid- year- she didn’t miss a beat. The girls look forward to working with Debra each week and she makes practicing throughout the week interesting. Lessons are age appropriate, engaging, and a lot of fun. Debra really goes the extra mile.” -Krista and Luke Waddell
Preschoolers ages 3-5 have so much fun learning piano with adorable characters they will fall in love with. Preschool Piano Lessons are Private one-on-one lessons tailored to each student. Your child will learn rhythm, counting, patterns and beginning piano skills through songs, games and imaginative activities on and off the piano bench. From the very first lesson your child will be building confidence playing along with duets and learning different musical concepts.
Watch your child fall in LOVE with piano lessons that are jam-packed with age-appropriate piano pieces, off-the-bench activities, and game-based learning. Students will gain an understanding of the keyboard, read rhythmic notation and develop aural awareness, explore correct piano posture and hand shape, learn the musical alphabet, identify notes on treble and bass staves and explore dynamics and time signatures.
Now is the time to make your dream of playing the piano come true. It's never too late to start! Learn how to play the music you love. Lessons will be tailored to your goals and learning style. Whether you're motivated to play pop music, country, classical or jazz, or you're inspired to learn improvisation, lead sheets or composing, we'll come up with a plan together. Not sure? No problem! We can experiment together with all different styles and find out what resonates with you the most.
